About Us
n’Bjeshkë
The touristic complex n’Bjeshkë (te Guri i Zi) is located 3.5 km from the inhabited part of Zaplluxhe village in Dragash Municipality and can be reached through an accessible road, asphalted this year by the municipality. Zaplluxhe village (in the territory of Dragash Municipality) borders with the Municipality of Prizren and North Macedonia and it is accessible through two road lines coming from Prizren. The electricity network is installed across the zone and there are many natural water springs.
The touristic complex n’Bjeshkë (te Guri i Zi) is working towards becoming a catalyst of rural tourism and economic development of this rural area. The established operator represents an employment opportunity especially for women and youth, having in mind the high rate of unemployment and the lack of employment opportunities in this rural area
Our Mission and Vision
Dragash Municipality contains a wealth of as yet unexplored opportunities for outdoor activities and tourism, including animal tracking, bird watching and nature observation (including for academic and research purposes); fishing; hiking and hill walking; mountain biking; picnicking sites; camping; exploration of heritage, archaeology, and rural culture; skiing; snowshoeing; horseback riding; cycling; scenic drives; local natural and cultivated products (herbs, honey, fruits, and vegetables).
The main goal of the business is to expand and diversify the rural tourism offer in Dragash Municipality through improved infrastructure, the establishment of innovative attractions, and integration of local products, gastronomic specialties, and natural attractions in a consolidated package offered by the touristic complex n’Bjeshkë (te Guri i Zi) in Zaplluxhe village.
The establishment of the overnight accommodation service and inclusion of the three foreseen attractions will increase the number of guests/visitors and their staying period in the touristic complex and in the area. This will directly contribute to the increase of income for the business and will generate the need for the employment of additional staff.
The touristic complex will provide an opportunity for the local community in terms of employment and integration in the supply chain of local products, which will be integrated in the restaurant’s menu.
